Project Rotor Loader

Ok I will be giving you a before and after pics on my Rotor Loader Hydrographics project. As you see in the pics I have totally gutted my Rotor to make sure no electronics get wet when dipping. I also removed the on/off power button, the 2 side plastic windows, the anti-jam slide, and the lid to make it easier to prep for the base coat. I will be finishing the project with a matte automotive grade clear coat to help protect the finish. Stay tuned...

From the rules:

Fifth, you will not advertise. Advertising a commercial product is forbidden . . .

Seems simple enough.

With the way the economy and sport of paintball is in, you would want to have a little excitement and get people interested in different ideas. Heck I not even competing with Tippmann. All I want to do is to enhance their products by offer a service for paintballers by paintballers. This is the only forum that has deleted one of my threads to say I was spamming...LOL are you kidding. I know what spamming is and I am not doing it. Remember it's people like me and on the forum that keeps you open for business. How about offering a dealer thread where companies like mine can support you and the fans of paintball. You can make it where we only show Tippmann products if you like. I'm an old school paintballer from the early 90s. I even still have my Tippmann pro carbine which I am in the process of restoring. This was my first paintball marker. I hope this post doesn't fall on deaf ears, just making a suggestion.

The no selling rule is blatant, and has been around for the entire duration (read: 10+ years) that this forum has been here.  Its posted right up in every single rules thread there is.  Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that many would enjoy having a classifieds section here, but also many wouldn't, including myself and Tippmann.  Having classifieds on a privately sponsored / endorsed site is a poor idea from a PR perspective.  Anything goes wrong here (something Tippmann would have no control over), and it can easily cause problems for them as a company even though they had nothing to do with it besides the fact that it was posted on their site.  It's not a matter of you 'competing' with them as a dealer.  Also, plenty of other classified sections exist on other sites, so its not really a big issue for them to see the need to create such a section here.

As well, and I'm sure you know this, people who own Tippmann markers have a history of making some of the most modified and customized markers.  Custom paintjobs have been done to them for as long as they have been around.  So while hydrographics are very cool, and I love them myself for that type of thing, customizing the appearance of Tippmann markers is nothing new.  So, as a company, Tippmann would be very minimally affected by one hydrographics dealer on their site.  Again, goes back to the classifieds argument.  Such a section would provide them little benefit, and the possibility of having an issue create a negative experience tied to them would far outweigh any positive attention, if any, they could eek out.

I'm not sure why you're other thread was deleted because I didn't see it, but I'm assuming it was because you posted this same topic in many subforums.  Multiple threads aren't needed - this is such a small forum that if you so desired, you could easily skim through all the new topics posted, every day.  So, again, one thread in one subforum will do just fine.  All that happened was one of your threads got deleted... not a big deal.  Again, part of the local rules, so learn them and you'll do fine around here.

Just read the rules and you'll do fine around here.  You can't expect the forum's rules conform to what you think they should be, but you should expect to read the rules and adhere to what Tippmann wants from it's forum.
