I've been trying for a week on the nation and MCB to find anyone with a stock Invert Mini board for sale. If anyone here knows of somewhere I could find one on the cheap, I would appreciate it if you could suggest to me via PM where I might find one.

Ebay is a rip-off right now. They want $40 for a stock board. Can get a 1.1 for $20, but they were the ones with issues right?

Nah, despite the Mini's fantastic ability to keep operating even in a torrential downpour, I got some mud jammed into the on-off button hole on the foregrip last season. It wound up getting stuck in the on-off module and prevents the marker from powering up or powering down with the button. You can jump the connection on the board with a small screwdriver and it boots just fine, but it means that you've got to keep your fingers well away from the trigger when in between games, or you're going to have a barrel condom full of broken paint. I went ahead and bought a 1.1 board. Apparently they weren't all bad, just some. If this is a late model board, then it should be fine. IIRC, the biggest issue was battery drain. I'm used to that with the old eclipse e-blades anyway.

Honestly, they all do about the same thing anymore. I don't need a gun to talk to me, I don't need a bunch of fancy settings since I don't play anything but rec ball anymore, and the mini is light, fast, and has decent efficiency with air. In my hands, it's like the difference between a 911 and a Ferrari. Sure, the Ferrari is way better, but am I ever going to drive it the way it's meant to be driven? Of course not.

Agreed, Even though I don't play paintball anymore, I feel like my B2k4 w/ PDS does just as good of a job as an Angel or any other marker out there.

If you had that gun, you wouldn't have the money to keep a girlfriend.
