Hi, new to paintball and I'd like to upgrade the stock barrels on my A5's to J&J ceramics but have heard quite a bit about ball breakage in the barrel. Is this really a problem , and if so, is there a good paintball brand to use that will minimize this? Thanks.

J&J barrels are good, well priced barrels. You shouldn't experience much barrel breakage unless you are using old brittle paint. Paintball stores tend to turn their product quickly and there is a less chance that it's old vs buying from Walmart.

You probably only heard about ball breakage because these barrels are known for being good at cleaning themselves out after a ball break.
