I have an A5. I took it apart and cleaned it and when I went to test it I got about 10 rounds off normally, after that it would constantly fire really fast without any trigger pulls. This would continue until i pulled the trigger again. It was like there was almost no air in the tank yet I had just gotten it filled. I was using a 12oz Co2 tank with a remote line.  I'm not sure what I should replace to try and fix this. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Check the trigger area for any missing springs/parts. Refer to the parts diagram in your manual, make sure everything is in there. It sounds to me like the sear spring or trigger slider spring is missing or the wrong one.

all the trigger features are still there and functioning, to be one the safe side I replaced the sear as well as it was a little worn on the top. That fixed the problem for about 10 rounds and then it just started happening again.

Check the bolt for wear, if the sear was worn there's a good chance that the bolt is also worn. If it is worn, it's probably not catching on the sear and so fires continuously. Do you have any aftermarket parts?

I was planning on replacing the bolt and purchased a new one, however I was unaware that tippmann had updated that assembly and now I'm waiting on the insert for the rear bolt. I have several after market parts, e-grip and a stock would be the only ones that should affect anything like this. I replaced the drive spring as well hoping that there was something wrong with the amount of force that it was providing. No help there. I'm also waiting on a completely new valve assembly maybe the one I have now is acting up. basically i've decided to replace just about everything and hope the problem goes away :-)
