Instead of the typical badass of the week, this is the dumbass of the week. This prestigious award goes to none other than our very own... *drumroll*....... ME!
Indeed, I have earned our dumbass of the week award.
Shortened story: So girl that I dated twice and then continued to break up with twice. Well she and I have stayed friends - she is a very smart and very cool girl and she's now dating some dorky kid, but she's happy with him. Anywho, it would probably help if I mention the fact that she is gorgeous, which is pretty relevant to this story as you will soon see. Anyways, I still talk to her every now and then, but I hadn't seen her since last semester until today. Where I then find out there is a good chance she will be on this next season of America's Next Top Model. This makes me kick myself in the ass for two reasons. 1) It just reinforces the little voice in my head "hey, you left that! Why did you leave that!?" and 2) Photo retouching is my job right now, it's what I do to make money. For those of you who know me, I love photography. While this doesn't matter all that much considering I wouldn't actually be going with her. It would still be cool to hear about everything that's going on, but I digress.

Actually in this case I'm being the optimist, and you're the pessimist. You're bummed because you got out of a failing relationship, and looking at the downside of being unable to ride her coattails.
I'm looking at the positive of you getting out of the relationship, and avoiding a shallow connection being the only thing keeping you in an unsatisfying relationship. You pulled pretty once, you can pull it again, don't dwell on missing out on eye candy in favour of something more. |

| Yeah, I find that too, that I know many girls far far more attractive than the girls that make the show, but that there are certain qualities that work in their favour/ make them an ideal manequin. Bone structure, etc. |
