Going to Ohio University. They offered to waive my tuition and got me a job for $9,750 for three quarters writing newsletters for the Department of Osteopathic Medicine Research. So yeah, go Bobcats:  |

Aww, I looked up where Ohio University is and its on the eastern half of Ohio. If it was closer to Cincinnati I would have visited next year. Anyways, congrats on them waiving tuition and getting paid. -------------  |

Are you serious OS? A scholarship =/= socialism. A job because he's proven himself to be a good writer =/= slavery. Don't worry. I thought it was funny. It was way too over-the-top to be something you would say legit.  Now, if it was FE...But you are right. All it took was someone flashing the cash for me to really make a decision. That and the fact that everyone in the program has been over-the-top friendly and outreaching to me.

Have fun with that. Also, I fail horribly at geography - I was thinking Ohio was at least slightly farther west. I thought perhaps your journey would take you near my city, but 'tis not so - you would have to take a 2 hour detour. Oh well. |

I feel for you.
When I moved to Ohio in 94, I was excited to finally have a pro team to root for.
I wish someone had warned me... They are in a rough patch... It's a really big rough patch.
Like, HUGE...
Chad is pretty classic though. A friend of mine got his "hall of fame" jacket that he threw into the crowd... I keep telling her to sell it on ebay. ------------- They tremble at my name...

I like Ocho Cinco a lot. Not only is the guy a really talented (probably Hall of Fame caliber) wideout, he knows he is getting millions of dollars to play what amounts to a glorified version of a child's game, and thus, has some fun with it. |
