I'm not sure what the "value" of the marker would have to do with it leaking; unless of course you picked it up really cheap.

you could check the o ring on the barrel and see if its broke?

^^^ That has NOTHING to do with sealing the marker...

More than likely it's the tombstone O-ring. .
Take the air source off.
Turn the marker upside down.
Take the tombstone out.
Look into the hole where the tombstone goes.
There's an O-ring down in there.
Use a small pick or similar tool to pull the O-ring out.
Inspect it VERY closely for abbrasions.
There is a washer and a spring behind the O-ring.
Don't loose them.
Replace the O-ring if needed.
Put the new O-ring down into the hole and use a tiny flat blade screwdriver to press it into the recess where it goes.
Inspect the surface of the tombstone where it meets the 0-ring. Make sure it's smooth.
If not hit it with an emory board just enough to smooth out any imperfections.
Oil the O-ring and tombstone then install the tombstone.

This should fix the problem.

I recommend buying O-rings in bulk. I buy the O-rings for Tippmanns and BTs in bags of 100 so I never run out and I always have them in case someone at the field needs one. I get 100 O-rings for about $2.00. It's much better than buying those O-ring kits that cost more and only give you a few O-rings. Buna-N O-rings work great in paintball gear.

Here's the specs for the A5 tombstone 0-ring. http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/wwg/search.shtml?op=search&searchQuery=2KAJ3&Ntt=2KAJ3&sst=All&from=Search&newSrch=yes&operator=keywordSearch&search_type=keyword&action=Go%2521&QueryString=2KAJ3&submit.x=40&submit.y=10 - http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/wwg/search.shtml?op=search&searchQuery=2KAJ3&Ntt=2KAJ3&sst=All&from=Search&newSrch=yes&operator=keywordSearch&search_type=keyword&action=Go%2521&QueryString=2KAJ3&submit.x=40&submit.y=10
