Is there any advantage to using either of these without an E-Trigger or Response Trigger? Thanks in advance

i think it really depends on your trigger finger, are you good at walking the trigger? do you shoot so fast that sometimes balls don't come out? if you shoot fast, i would suggest getting an electric hopper. if you don't have any problems as you are, i would not recommend getting one.

I still have my dinky little single trigger that comes on the gun, so walking the trigger is pretty much a no go. I have had no paint come out before, but its not a very common occurrence.

The cyclone is good to 20bps. Do you really need to go faster than that? really?

No... I was just curious if having one was of any advantage without an E-Trigger or RT...

Ah, sorry, guess I should have read the full thread. With just a regular trigger, probably not.

Without some sort of trigger upgrade, there really is no reason to upgrade your feed system. Gravity fed hoppers can usually feed from 4-6 bps which is faster than you can probably pull the trigger on a stock, single trigger Tippmann. If you are not having problems with outshooting the gravity feed hopper, and arent chopping balls, save your money.

I would have agree with oldphnoob that you should probly just stick with the gravity feed.
