Well today I was supposed to be on my way back to NY. One trip to ER later and now may not be able to go for awhile. Lincoln house has forced air heat, last night momma woke up feeling a wet spot on pillows. My nose was gushing blood, she woke me and off to ER. My blood thinners combined with dried nasal passages got me bleeding, and I did not even know it. INR check at 1400 with new medication set up, if 2.5 or a little higher I can leave if not stuck here in Nebraska. Mr Murphy on sale of NY house and new Nebraska home purchase.....knew my luck could not hold.

I like the temperature about 5-10 degrees higher than everyone else that I live with, so I keep a space heater in my room. Unfortunately I end up with the same problem, humidity drops darn near to 0, and I wake up with massive nose bleeds in the middle of the night. -.-

That sounds dreadful. I keep my room 5-10 degrees COLDER than everyone else. Idk how you could sleep with it hot.
Also, never experienced this "0 humidity" that you speak of, must be nice.
As far as nosebleeds go though, one of my little brothers used to wake up with the dangerously often, and they were bad. One time when he was younger(and too young in my opinion) the Ear-nose-throat doctor tried to just cauterize his nasal passages with silver-nitrate, that left him terrified of the doctor for a while. He's had a bunch of stuff done to it, but I don't pay close enough attention to know what worked, or if he still has nosebleeds or not.

A humidifier in the bedroom at night helps a lot with those. (I like Montana's general lack of humidity, but the winter nosebleeds are a problem.)

Where are you in Montana, Mack?
One of these days I'd love to go visit my brother, who's currently living in Missoula. Haven't gotten around to it since he's been there.

Great Falls. My step-daughter went to school in Missoula. Other than visiting her there we try to stay away from it as it is granola* central.
*Think liberal hippies but with worse hygiene.

I guess it's good that I'd really just like to go visit the parks and perhaps play a game or two of Munchkin.
