Some good digging by that reporter there, hope he can get to the bottom of this. I just hope it doesn't turn into a mudslinging match, there's no reason for it to get dirty.

What? Seriously? He was careful to merely call them "suspects" and not "digg" throughout the article. He gave them time to respond before it went public. Once they were notified, and before it went public the account activity ceased. They can ban accounts, they cannot stop them from digging. If they were an outside group they would be banned. The research was level headed and concise, well explained with other potential explanations. I don't see any negative on this guy at all, only 99% certainty that digg just shot both of their feet off. |
