If you buy your marker straight from the store (like Dicks), what do you need for your marker to be able to shoot paint ball?

What do you need for the A5?

What do you need for the Salvo?

It really depends on the package you purchase, but in most cases you will need a air source i.e.., CO2 or HPA tank and paintballs. Most of the packages sold at these retail stores include a CO2 tank but these are not filled and would need filling before they work. As for paint, paint can be bought anywhere but just remember you get what you pay for. If you buy a case of paint for ten bucks expect to have barrel breakage and inaccuracy throughout the day. And last but not least always where eye protection, again something usually included in a Tippmann package.

Don't get sucked into package deals. Typically, they include a tank that is too small and a really crappy mask that fogs if you simply look at it. Buy at least a 20 oz CO2 tank and invest a good thermal lense mask. Good masks typically run $50+.
