Comin down pretty good here.  Should be a fun walk to my final in the morning.  Thankfully moving snow and spreading salt is one of the few things this school does well.  Just have to make it to campus.

I'd love some snow right now. We just had several inches of torrential rain. Even parts of the UK have 4'. WTH weather?

Since the Metro Dome collapsed, the Vikings game will be in Detroit. Tickets are free, too bad I work.

People seem to be getting butt slammed by snow everywhere but here. Upstate NY, which has been a hotbed of snowfall activity all my life- hasn't seen anything at all that looks like accumulation. In fact, we've had rain for the last two days.

I've got mixed feelings about it. I absolutely hate winter and snow, but its just a dismal and depressing Christmas season if there isn't at least a nice blanket on the ground.

I suppose I'll live. We've got two more days of rain before the forecast calls for 'snow showers'

He's back in FLA, I'm sure he's counting his lucky stars right now though.

13.5 or 14 inches here.  Good thing about it was that there was no wind.

I LOVE snow, one of the reasons I was so glad to move from NC to Ohio!

Found out my MDX does awesome drifting donuts, since it automatically shifts into 4 wd mode, very fun!

Yeah I escaped back to Florida for the holidays. You all will get my freak-outs starting on the 27th when I make the drive back up.

Although, from what I've heard, Southeast Ohio doesn't get as much snow as it just gets really, really cold for a long time. Last year, I've been told, they only got about 6" of snow the whole winter on campus, but it never got above freezing for all of January and February.

But hey, apparently the campus is getting snow now. The school posted these photos to Facebook:

No matter what you call it, it is insignificant next to the power of the force.

Note to self, listen to the weatherman.. sometimes they are right. Spent 3 hours getting home last night from what is normally an 1 1/12 trip. Spent about an hour shoveling the driveway and sidewalks. Tired of winter already.

My friend got stuck in Minnesota over night, he went up there to get a snowmobile and while he was up there they closed the roads.

Been coming down all night and all this morning.

Could see grass yesterday.

There's my front yard. This isn't anything really too impressive yet, just figured I'd share a picture.

Also, "wind"chill is about -15 right now, and there's about a foot of snow on the ground. I'm really really really glad I won't be back in town till January.

EDIT: Well, that picture doesn't show it very well, but from the opposite side of that building, it would almost look like the mirror image of yours.

Lol you noobs still have fall leaves on your trees? We lost ours about 3 weeks ago. All the grass is dead now because of the snow we got last week which was about 10 inches. Then it snowed another 3 inches around Thursday.

But all that snow is gone now because of the torrential rains we have today. Its flooding my basement as i'm typing this. Oh well, at least its a toasty 57 degrees out! :D

You do realize that some trees hang onto a lot of their leaves all winter? Especially oak.
