Is anyone else doing this? http://warriordash.com/index.php

The one in Wisconsin is only 15 minutes from my house and I think I'm going to do it with some friends and coworkers.

Anyone have any costume ideas? Both individuals and group.

EDIT:

Also, I think I'm going to run it in these http://www.invisibleshoe.com/

I think this race would destroy a pair of running shoes and I've been looking to get into barefoot running for awhile.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

i did that once, back in october with my cousin. it was a BLAST. the obstacles are kind of lame, but the after party was sweet. drinking some beers, eating huge turkey legs, and watching bands. I would NOT advise running barefoot....bring a pair you want to toss (they take piles of donations) and bring a pair to wear after. Over all i would do it again, but i won't be around for any before the army ships me out, so i signed up for a tough mudder in May

The TA I talked about in chat does warrior dashes and things of the sort. I definitely want to do one when I get the time to. As far as costumes go, it's a bit tacky, but a good individual/group costume would be:

That's exactly what I was going to suggest, weird.

Now that i'm a little more sober, i can say a little more about it coherently. The costumes were cool, but just be ready to toss it after the race...its going to be shot. I'm sure they do it at every one, which is they have a local fire dept. bring a truck out to hose people down after the race. I still use the same running shoes i used during the race, i just took a hose to them when i got home.

They had it in my hometown this summer and I missed it because I couldn't drum up the entry fee. There's talk about bringing it back there again, and if so, I'm doing it.

Jmac, they're two different courses based on the same concept. Tough Mudder is supposed to be tougher than the Warrior Dash. They had one up in PA/MD earlier this year, turnout was so high that they had to change the venue to handle all the runners and extend it to 2 or 3 days instead of just 1. I want to run one once I finally get the time to do so.

Tallen, i signed up for one up in VT in May...the thing that sucks is that it fills up so fast that they sell out within weeks...i had wanted to do the one in April but couldn't sign up in time
