Biden is thinking of other things, Boehner clearly doesn't want to be there.

I love when he would randomly smile and giggle a bit.

The little bit I watched reminded me how much of a stroke Biden is.

And Boner is oddly tan, and that stupid pink tie...

I feel like Joe Biden is the silly monkey of the administration.

Also, the repeated clapping was stupid (although not unsurprising.)

Yeah, I skipped ahead and just heard things about being a great open transparent example of government, being a shining example for justice, etc.

Needless to say, I turned it off.

I laughed at the 'this is our sputnik moment' comment not so long after he gutted NASA they way he did.  Oh the eyeroknee...

Well, legitimately winning the space race against China isn't going to help us much.

Most of what Sputnik did was cause Congress to pass the NDEA, and create more scientists and engineers.  I think he's entirely right in calling for the same thing, but there's simply no reason to challenge China in outer space, because they're not there.

All sputnik did was create the environment for government to grow at a massive pace to "keep up" with a invented "threat" created by those in power to take more control.

That is what Obama wants. More spending that he controls, rewarding this friends and punishing his enemies.

He hates business. So you young guys can kiss getting a good job goodbye.

I thought the speech was the exact same as his last sotu speech. More massive spending, and then a completely fake "spending freeze".

Let us look at this "freeze" logically.

As far as government spending what was the worst year EVER in the history of our nation?

Well, that would be last year, when the government didn't even bother bringing up a budget, much less passing one.

Massive spending increases, across the liberal spectrum. It was a power grab plain and simple.

and instead of cutting back to 08 levels... He wants to "Freeze" them at this new massive increased levels...

wow... Yet the media says "how responsible, how great that was...".

Has no one a brain in the media?... Oh yeah, they wanted him in power, and carry his water.

Well... most do. This one flew the coop. And now I see why this speech was so familiar.

Classy Obama, plagerizing others and then calling it his own...

"We are the ones we've been waiting for"...  Obama, about Obama...
