Well i got my marker almost 5 years and now my cyclone system doesnt work at all.
i've tried it loose screws, brand new orings, i've even put my finger in in the hose connected to the marker to see if air is coming out and it does, i've also tried to different types , co2 and hpa!
any ideas?

Well if it is 5 years old, check the bottom of your Cyclone, it should have an "A" on the bottom near the piston. Also check the inside of your cyclone. The ratchet should be clear.

Does it work manually?

by pushing the lever, if so, then you might have worn it out and you need to replace the ratchet. (had to do that with mine).

If your ratchet is milky white, contact Tippmann as they have a new style that is black and will work in the cold.

hmm, not sure what you mean, but let me tell you of the issues I had when mine wouldn't fully cycle.

I had put in a lightning rod, and a qeph from tech t. But, left the original ratchet inside...

It wouldn't cycle all the way, I could manually cycle it, but not when firing. So I left the lightning rod in, and went back to the stock tippmann metal qeph. Then it worked, but not consistently. So then I took out the lighting rod and it worked fine.

I have found that unless you are going to upgrade ALL of your cyclone with tech t or other parts, you might have the issue you are talking about.

I went ahead and put in all metal in mine, lighting rod, AND metal ratchet. And on my spare A-5 I put in all stock, both work great, but my ratchets were worn out on both guns, (about the same age as yours as I got my A-5 when I started playing).

So first off, contact tippmann (you can pm tippmannemployee who has a few stickied threads as that is easy) And ask if he can send you the new style black ratchet, as you have the old one, and he might send it to you free... I don't know.

Or you can upgrade both to a metal rod, AND metal ratchet. But using only one or the other often leads to issues. The tolerances have to be just right for it to work properly. As it is using the "extra" air in the gun to ratchet the system. If your tolerances are worn out, it takes more pressure to turn a fully loaded hopper full of paint, and will cause the issue it sounds like you are having.

good luck, and remember to lightly oil the inside parts so it is very smooth operating. I found once I figured this out, I could play to way lower air pressure than before.

In the past, my gun would stop ratcheting balls way before it ran out of air. Now it will run out of air (brrrrttttttt) before it quits feeding balls. Which is a good indicator that you have worn out your ratchet/and or rod.

hi well it wasnt my ratchet or my rod it was the side plates of the body. a friend of mine took sandpaper and rubbed the sides where the hammer rubbes. After that he did took  something like a brush and he polished it.
Well after that we did a good cleaning with a cloth. Put some oil in it and it worked Again.
