Hello

I am new to the whole paintball world and i recently bought a phenom and i am having major problems. i am getting very inaccurate/inconsistent shots. i played my first game with it and it didn't show as much of performance as i expected. i know the paint might be causing it but when i start playing its all fine(not really but better) and then it gets REAL bad. it takes HARD angles after like 20ft. i didn't clean my gun after my first game because i didn't have a ball break but when i practice by myself i had like 15 continuous ball breaks. i also noticed that my phenom uses alot of co2. btw i am using a stock barrel. i mean i am kind of disappointed because i feel like my old gun, alpha black, used to have less problems then this gun. i still have the warranty i think.  i also founf out that the ball breaks splashed a little bit of paint in the cyclone feeder too.

that was my current situation. now when i was searching around i came across several word i didn't understand and it would be great if i could know what they meant:

-Chrono'd
-Auto-cocker(i want to know what it is and what i need to do to get it)
-some problems with hammerhead barrels in phenom(whats that about?)
-bolt problems
-how much velocity do i set for my gun
-freak systems

one last question i had is.... i am thinking of buying a HPA tank but the closest field is providence paintball which take me about 45 minutes to get there. is there a way i can fill these up without having to go that far? btw i get my co2 tank filled in sports authority.

i would really appreciate some help and i apologize for any of my mistakes in grammer :D

Chronoed = chronographing the gun  (i.e. using a chronograph to measure the velocity, in feet per second, of the balls being fired from it.

Auto-cocker = a really awesome type of marker that used to be made by WGP.

Marker velocity is field dependent but should be under 300 fps in all cases.

Freak is a barrel system that was made by Smart Parts and consisted of a barrel front, barrel back and different sized sizers that fit inside the barrel back.  The sizers provided a better fit between the paint and the barrel which could improve efficiency and possibly accuracy.

What is the Velocity your Phenom is shooting at? Sounds like your shooting hot.

What paint and what are the weather conditions that you are shooting at. CO2 in cold weather sucks, it freezes in your Gun, It causes a lot pf velocity spikes. Cheap Paint and most paint in winter becomes very brittle. Winter Fill paintballs work better.

In the broad spectrum of bad ideas I think this would have to rate somewhere between running with scissors and sticking your pecker in the toaster.
