im about to get a decent raise, 1.34 cents per hour.
i have found a nitch at work so i can work 60-72 hours a week. now, im working night shift. i met a chick and want to see where things go but i will have to go on day shift if i do. if i stay on nights my raise will equate to 1.44 per hour with shift differential. but if i go to days my raise will only effect my check by 12 cents per hour. plus the guy on days will have the job i can work ot on and i will have to work crap jobs... TLDR: opertunity costs are ~100$ per check 1.18 per hour. plus all the ot. plus the stress of day shift and the loss of OT and a supervisor that doesnt give me crap (min 90 days back on day shift). or see what happens with a chick... so just for a shot at the chick it would cost me a minimum of $600 women = (time)(money) time = money women = money ^2 money = root of evil women = evil check my math. ------------- saving the world, one warship at a time. |

I haven't done math in 6 years and I can spot a couple of problems already. I am not arguing that women are equal, but your math is still off. -------------

fify It's dating and marriage where the amount of sex isn't greater than the cost. Having a girlfriend is that awesome medium of cheap dates in and sex multiple times a week. -------------

| Yeah, not to nitpick but even the first step is wrong. Since they are in brackets and have no symbol they are being multiplied. To simplify you can't just move time to the left of the = sign (which would make it -time anyways) but divide instead. |

That's not what he's doing. It would read better like this women = (time)(money) time = money =>women = (money)(money) women = money ^2 money = root of evil => women = sqrt(evil)^2 women = evil ------------- |

If you read the story that goes along with it, it says "women are time and money". From what I can remember, x "and" y always meant x+y. 1 and 1 is 2, not 1. Given that, the first step is already wrong. -------------
