This game is called "How many interviews can you go on before getting a job?"

Jesus christ I have been on more interviews than anyone on the face of the planet. I don't care who tries to refute that claim.

I went on 2 this week. One on Wednesday one on Thursday. At one job I had 2 interviews, didn't get the job, and then got called for a 3rd interview for a different position. I went on 3 interviews in 4 days on week. I have gone on so many more that I can't even begin to count.

So counting tomorrow, that's 9 without trying to continue my math. Has anyone else done this?

I have had 2 jobs where I went in to work for a couple hours to stage. One of them I know why they didn't hire me(travel made a big deal about it. Hour ride for $10 an hour), and the other I made a fool of myself so I understand why I didn't get it.

Finally tomorrow I get yet another chance. Have to go stage for 3-4 hours starting at 5 am, BEFORE the interview thank god. Have to not make a fool of myself this time either working or being all anxious when sitting down to talk like I always am.

I kinda know how you feel. Jobs are darned hard to come by nowadays.
I've applied at about a dozen different places in the past 6 weeks, and I haven't even gotten an interview.
Sucks extra being young and inexperienced. At least the Marines want me. heh heh heh...

In the broad spectrum of bad ideas I think this would have to rate somewhere between running with scissors and sticking your pecker in the toaster.

I've been offered a job from each and every single interview I've ever done since I started working at 15.

*knock on wood*

That's been my record as well, but I've only worked four jobs since I could legally worked (three before).

That's also along with the fact that I've applied at ALOT of jobs for every job I've been called to an interview for, and only gotten called for those four.

I'll be playing the new job game soon though, I'm growing incredibly tired of the hospital enviroment. The pay is good (I bring in about 14 an hour with weekend pay), but the job is very high stress for a weekend job, and it's interrupting college.

You're right... you doing the same joke for multiple years with no clear starting point NEVER gets old.

it really doesn't get old. I laugh.

I did have a 100% job to interview percentage until i got out of college...sadly I'm beginning to think my waste of time paper I got in Providence is actually detrimental. I'm not even being unreasonable or anything. Asking for $10 and will do anything(except wash dishes full time)
