Who actually knows someone named Brody? The name has appeared in every damn TV series I've ever followed, and I have yet to meet someone with the name. It's the most common name for a one-time character for a TV show I've seen so far, and it's driving me crazy. Do they actually exist in real life? Have I been under-exposed to the people of this world? Who the hell is it that comes up with these names?

Listen, not a year goes by, not a year, that I don't hear about some escalator accident involving some bastard kid which could have easily been avoided had some parent - I don't care which one - but some parent conditioned him to fear and respect that escalator.
