Other than the chocolate coating, it has nothing in common with twix.

Starto, we totally do have ketchup potato chips. They're pretty easy to find around these parts.

| Not even close! Inside is like extremely aerated peanut brittle minus the peanuts. My wife orders them on line a case at a time. They are indeed delicious..

based on how it looks...looks sort of noughgutty, but choop said it was like a soft toffee.
edit- now that i know its peanut butter, it sounds more like a butter finger crossed with a 3 musketeers

It's not peanut butter. Its honeycomb. It's just crunchy like a butter finger.

Like peanut brittle, not peanut butter. Peanut brittle while is has peanuts in it, the brittle is not peanut flavored. Brittle is a combo of butter, sugar, water and baking soda if I remember correctly. Depending on how much baking soda you put in, it gets more honeycombish.

Not quite. We have them, but they are healthy so they aren't as mass-produced as other alternatives.
The one thing I envy Canada for having (Choop, Funky, and other resident objects from Canada aside) is all dressed potato chips. I'm not a fan of potato chips, and usually adding any sort of flavoring to them either does nothing or makes them less appealing, but somehow I love all dressed potato chips.
I would be a much, much unhealthier man if we had those here, though, so I'm content.

We do have all that stuff Choop, most grocery stores in my area carry Wispa, Aero, Flake, Caramilk, Crunchie, Tiger Bar, etc. They're just imported and thus cost about $0.25 more and sit in the international aisle rather than on the candy bar shelves at check-out.

When I worked at the newspaper in Florida, my photo editor (Who took over my position when I left) was a German-Turk.
His family, which still lived in Germany, would send him a massive box of chocolate every Valentines Day, Easter Sunday, and his birthday, which is in the middle of March. He, not wanting to eat the entire boxes himself, would bring the boxes into work and let us work on it.
It took nearly four months of at-work snacking to clear it all out.
This is just ONE of the boxes. I think this was the Valentine's Day box from last year. And this is AFTER people had taken what they wanted out of it:
His mom would also call him and loudly nag him in Turkish to eat the whole box himself because he was too skinny.

Whale, that almost looks like my suit case coming home from Switzerland. I spent roughly 150 francs on chocolate alone.

A random chocolate cookie EVERYONE should know about....
With these you do the "tim tam slam" Bite off either end and use it as a straw. DEADLY!!! w. baileys or milk or they recomend hot tea.
These are somthing everyone need to try at least once. They are hard to come by though. Specialty shops are the only ones I've seen carry it.
I blame chrunchies for child hood obesiety. There too good.

What the hell? Everything in this thread is pretty standard grub here. I thought nestle and cadbury would have spread pretty thick in Yankeeland. Although I've never seen a caramilk, looks like a re-branding of the cadburys caramel.

If you can get a hold of these go for it. Only a few though or you will have no teeth.

You should go with them. It is really the coolest grocery store I have ever seen. You can spend hours in there, and they have everything you can think of if you are a "foodie". We made homemade ice cream that called for vanilla beans, and we looked a bunch of places before going to Jungle Jims who had about 5 different types to choose from...
If you love food, it is worth the trip. My wife told me that when she was a kid, Jungle (that is what everyone calls him) would sell produce on the side of main street in Hamilton. Then he purchased the store in Fairfield and has grown it into what you see now. I have sold him printing in the past, and he is a very interesting guy.
His wine collection in the store is one of the largest in the counry. And there are live tanks with fish. Now THAT is fresh fish.
