What barrels is the Apex barrel tip compatibale with?  Basically can you put it on a stock tippmann a5 barrel?

Its not that i think stuipidity should be punishable by death, i just think we should take the warning labels off of things and let the problem handle itself.

Here's a great thread to look through if you have Apex questions: http://www.a5og.net/other-barrel-systems/16174-ultimate-apex-barrel-thread.html - link .

A: Yes you can place the Apex Tip on any barrel, as long as it does not have a tapered tip, and the outer diameter of the barrel is LESS than 0.875 (7/8"). To attach the tip to a barrel that is not Apex Ready*, you will need to use either a Manufactured Adapter or one of the Tape Mods that are linked to below.

*An Apex ready barrel is a barrel that already has an “Apex Adapter” machined into the barrel

So basically as long as the barrel is straight and the width is smaller than .875 (not the bore size but actual barrel size), you should be good.

Call up Tippmann and ask maybe? Or just google it.

Apex tip doesn't fit on stock barrels. There is a "o ring" mod and a more famous "tape mod" that works but they are temporary solutions.

I shoot both the Apex and the Flatline and the only real advantage the Apex has it's the ability to be able to be turned off. I prefer the flight and trajectory of the Flatline over the Apex IMHO.

There is also an adapter that is supposed to fit most barrels, the only barrel it fit on was my stock barrel and I still resorted to the "tape mod' to make sure it stayed on the end of the barrel.
