hi
Do not worry, this is not the same topic repackaged, I'm sorry about that I checked and to be fair you were right. Anyway, I have recently came across quiet alot of money, and I was hoping to buy a trade pack for me and my friends. The reason I am buying equipment for my friends is because they do not have so much money and it would be quicker and easier to start the team if I brought it and they paid me back later. Anyway, I was looking on the internet and didn't find the packages I wanted, this is what I was looking for-

-I package for under £1000
-it must contain everything NEEDED (not wanted, needed) to play
-it must contain at least 5 of everything

I will not get my own land I'll just go to some walk ons, maybe buy a membership somewhere to lets me play free walk ons (if you have any cheap suggestions for that membership go ahead) and just play from there.

Thanks everyone and sorry for the repackaged topics
Tom

Try doing a Google search using the term paintball field packages.  I only checked a few of the results but I can tell you will have to sort out the packages that contain too many markers and the ones that have other equipment like netting and bunkers.

The smallest gun/mask, etc package I saw was 20 markers and associated equipment for around $4000.  (Don't know what that is in pounds.)  I remember seeing packages as small as 10 markers and equipment advertised in paintball magazines but don't think I've ever seen anything smaller.  Good luck.

I think he is wanting to equip a 5 man team. Moneywise, 1kGBP is around $1600 U.S., so approx $320 per player. You may want to google "UK Paintball" and see what you come up with and start from there as far as a store. Alternatively, you may want to call your local field and see if they have a store that sells equipment. Only advice I will offer is to stay away from package deals that include guns, masks, tanks etc. Especially on Tippmann packs, the tanks tend to be 9oz, which is pretty small for any practical use and the masks tend to be very low end and fog like crazy. With the amount of money you are looking at per player, you should be able to pick up a $150 marker, $60-70 anitfog mask, 20oz CO2 tank, Hopper, and pod pack with pods and maybe have a little left over for things like barrel squeegees etc.

Read through Mack's sticky in the New Players forum and it will give you a good rundown of what you actually need to play.
