to sum things up, i am VERY VERY new at paint-ball but i'm massively intrested in starting a run into it. I've already bought my gun, a tippman Carver one.

I geuss to get to the point, i'm having trouble trying to find some all purpose sights that sells everything i need to make this marker my own.

1: it only takes 98 custom parts, correct?
2: what site would you prefer if you were to purchase some good quality aiming sights, Vertical Grips, barrels, and stocks?
3: is it possible to add some kind of camouflage or emblem to this gun without ruining the insides?
Thank you for your time.

All the rails on the Carver One are Picatinny. As long as the sight you purchase is picantinny compatible you are good to go. Same with the vertical grips. I have seen a lot of complaints about NCStar sights not being very durable, maybe someone else will have a better suggestion.

If you are considering painting the marker there is a good tutorial in Upgrades and customizing. I personally suggest that the marker always be disassembled when repainting, but can be done as well with proper masking. Quality is all in how much you want to spend. It can range from a $3 rattle can paint job to hydrographics, powdercoating or duracoating. Your imagination and wallet are your only limits.

carver is a great marker to start off with
yes it only takes tippmann parts but of course you can mod waht ever you want
if you know waht you are doing

my suggestion depending on your play style
is getting a folding grip!
i have the tm-7 folding grip and it works great!
i also would suggest getting a folding stock or the alpha black CAR stock adjustable
for a sight  i have a replica eotech 552 that i got from www.khmountain.com for a decent price

for painting like oldnoob said  take your marker apart and then sand it down really good and then layer as you see fit.

Thank you for your help! :D I've found everything i needed, except paint, i'll just leave it bare for now until i can figure something out.

One more question! i've noticed that some paintball guns have a burst fire function, is there a mod or upgrade for the carver one that can utilize that function?

They take a 9v that you can buy the chargable ones or the normal ones

I would suggest the chargeable ones cause they will die

I'd get the regular alkaline batteries.  NiCads are worthless and the NMH batteries don't have the same dimensions (in my experience) so they don't fit well.  I have never had a battery die on me in the field and it is nothing in between games to swap them out.  If you are so absolutely worried about battery death during a game, swap out a fresh battery before a day of playing.
