Revelations 8:1., And when he had opened the seventh seal there was silence in heaven for about the space of one half of an hour . . .

http://scores.espn.go.com/mlb/boxscore?gameId=310615118 - . . . As the Lord discovered that the Pirates are now above .500 in the middle of June.

This is their first time over .500 in June since 1999.

They've not finished a season over .500 since 1992.

I'm getting firmly behind the Pirates doing it this year.

One of my earliest memories was traveling to Harrisburg PA to visit my great grandfather who was laying in his bed dying in his 80's and beside him was his old tube radio with the Pirates game on...

He never missed listening to a game on that radio, and I still have it to this day. Something about listening to a baseball game on a old tube radio just makes it so much better.

They will still finish 10-15 games under .500

They've got two more series with the Astros, Nationals, and I think the Mets, so that will help.

On the downside, series against the Reds, Boston and Cleveland.

Not even so much as a tube Radio, but even moreso just crappy reception or AM broadcasting. But yes, I think it would be awesome to have your team win the World Series, while you are stuck somewhere where radio is the only option. Listen to the Dropkick Murphys "Tessie" song for example.
