hello all,

my name is kendall. i'm from southwest florida. i'm new to the forum, but not to paintball. just seriously out of touch.

i played years back, in the golden times of the sport. there were a lot of shops and parks to visit. there were also a lot of people playing or interested in playing. years go by way too fast.. and after not having played for many years i find myself right back at the sport i love, but having to work much harder than i ever did before to get my fix.

to put a long story short - i'm dating a beautiful girl that has a son about the age that i started to get interested in paintball. he and so many kids these days have no idea what they're missing - simply because it hardly exists to them. the shops are out of business, and the parks are closed. but i do know that it is not completely gone.

again, to cut out the details you may not be interested in - i've been compiling guns and gear in a rather quick manor. currently i'm working with four tippmann a5's (three of which have been sitting for a very, very long time), one autococker, a spyder TL, and a newly acquired tippmann 98 ACT. i'm working on acquiring as many markers and gear combos as i can and getting everything working properly.

the reason for this carnage is because i want to play again. and i want to share the experience with friends and relatives in the way that i used to. i'm piecing things together so that there is a hub and a network for people to play around here. weather it be long trips or through someone's wooded property, i want to play again.

i'll definitely need help. i'm glad to be joining this community as i can see there is a lot of passion and knowledge for the game and its tools provided through this forum, and i can't wait to dive deeper into it.

i work 6 days a week. so things will be moving slowly, but surely. i hope there are a few interested in giving me some tips as i plan to get started on the reconstruction of these great markers in the coming weeks! i'll be posting pictures and topics soon!

- kendall

Welcome to the forums! It's not as lively as it used to be (though Thoughts and Opinions is the exception to the rule, mainly because all the guys who don't play anymore still go there to chat) but is still a veritable wealth of information as those of us here know just about every system there is. If you need any advice or help with non-Tippmann markers, a lot of us are well versed in Autocockers, Automags, Spyders, old-school pump and bolt-action stuff, etc.

What do you do that you're working 6 days a week? I've had schedules like that, and they suuuuuuuck. Of course, my career kinda requires working the crappy shifts.

@ tallen

work with teeth monday through friday. denture and dental assistant. i've been working with teeth for 7 years now.. and on saturday, i work at a military antique mall and museum. ranked no. 1 in the country! it's primarily wwii but it really covers all military periods. it's helped a lot in the excess gear for paintball these days. haha

what do you do?
