Hello all,

Ive been having a problem with my 98 Custom Platinum Edition with E-grip installed. I bought a used 98 Custom Pro off of a person on craigslist and then put the E-grip into my platinum edition. Everything with the actual board works perfectly. The selector works good, it powers up, I can hear the rod hitting the seer when I press the trigger. Ive taken the seer out of the 98 Custom Pro, the Seer spring, the trigger and also the e-trigger itself.

The problem im having is this: At first when I power up the gun it shoots fine, though it feels laggy , through more firing at the field eventually the seer will not lower at all, leaving the hammer in the cocked position all the time but I can hear the rod being pushed into the seer.

The gun im using has this: 98 Custom Platinum ACT , Rufus Dawg power tube, Tipmann Expansion chamber and I always use Co2 through the gun.

A few games into the field when I started having real problems I took the gun apart and found the seer spring laying inside one half of the clam shell. Now I do not know if it came when I took the gun apart or ?

Im thinking perhaps the SEER spring is worn, and simply flying off inside the gun with rapid fire on the e-grip. or Perhaps the seer itself needs to be replaced? Any thought is appreaciated.

Note: I have used this gun for the last few months with the RT mod in it and everything has worked perfectly. It seems the E-trigger is giving me trouble.
