I'm thinking about getting a good gun below 200$ Have any good ideas? I love the Tippmann 98 custom and I was thinking about buying the platinum series. Thanks! xD

Most of the 98 line of markers are pretty much the same in performance and general ergonomics.
If you're going the 98 route you can't really go wrong unless you buy a used one off of someone who completely doesn't know what they're doing.
Generally, most Tippmanns will offer about the same performance and the same reliability(which is generally seen as the best in the business).
The only downside to them is that the stock barrel could be better.
This is easily remedied by buying a new barrel.
I've had my fair share of Tippmanns and've been quite happy with the J&J ceramic that I've used on a few of them.

Yeah, I bought a stock that said it was for the 98c. It don't fit! It fits on my uncles platinum though... So i think I'm just going to get a platinum and put that stock on it. Then probably buy a new barrel for it. :P

You can find used 98's usually for a decent price on Ebay. A lot of times people buy these markers, dump tons of money into them and then realize they can't get anywhere near what they have into them, out of them. Even if something is wrong with them, they are typically easy and cheap to fix. If you are patient, you can find E-grip equipped 98's for under $100. You can also buy a brand new Carver One with an E-grip for around $139.
