What's better 98's ACT or a5's cyclone feeder. Which would you rather have

Cyclone feeder. ACT doesn't feed paintballs, whereas an A5 does. A properly feeding Cyclone on a 98/X7/A5 will feed flawlessly with good paint. ACT may just not chop. -------------

The ACT, simply helps to keep you from chopping paint, but does not make the marker feed any faster. If you have a marker capable of more than 5-6 bps, you will have to upgrade to a cyclone or electronic hopper. ------------- "When I grow up I want to marry a rich man and live in a condor next to the beach" -- My 7yr old daughter. |

Of course you can add a Cyclone to a model 98 as well.

I would choose a Cyclone over ACT. I have an older non-ACT 98C and I am happy with a cyclone. -------------

Had an ACT-equipped marker and didn't like it. Have cyclone-equipped markers and do like them. Cyclone all the way. -------------
