You might check with Tippmann directly, but i doubt you will get much of a response. What marker is it? If it's a 98_ you can usually get a general idea by the model. Gun Bodies are made in batches with the serial numbers on them. They are then used to assemble the guns, Serial numbers are not sequential by date but can indicate general time frames of manufacture.

Tippmann uses just sequentially numbered serial numbers. Some other manufacturers will use part of the serial as a date/batch code, but Tippmann just starts with 0000001 and goes from there. They do know the date manufactured though. They should be able to tell you at the least if a gun is in warranty or not. -------------
