Well i been playing paintball since the lat 90's. I went to sky ball in 2001. I basically been with paintball since the infancy of electropnumatic guns. BUT in all that time and the countless tens of guns/markers i have owned and love NONE have been electro. Most my plays been out in the woods but for a few years i daveled heavily into the speedball side of things and my gun of choice was ALWAYS either a well Setup X-Valve Automag or a Pump of some kinda (Phantoms and my PGP II).
I have shoot quite a few in the past but never felt they were better in any way beside my ULT tuned X-Valved Mags. Sadly a few years back when i started playing less i sold off my last really tricked out Mag to just keep my old stuff.
Well i been really enjoying paintable again this past year both in the woods/scenerio side and the indoors/speedball game. So as of yesterday i have done the UNTHINKABLE and purchased my FIRST ever electronic gun a Dangerous Power E1. Have not got out to play with it as of yet but took it out to the backyard to fire off a few rounds and am impressed. It deffinetly slings paint and that trigger is REALLY light. The whole gun is freaking TINY. My mags were always kept to being as small as i could make em and this thing feels TINY and looks it when put beside my current Classic Mag. Gona take it to the field on saturday for some indoor play. Still need to work on learning to walk this thing (mags feel VERY VERY different) and i will need a force fed hopper but fro now while i learn to walk the OLD reloader with do ok.
Gun only has two modes Semi and Full Auto witch actually works for me cause i hate c=guns that have zoo many functions that it gets confusing. All i wanted was Semi auto the full auto is just a bonus fun novelty i may break out at a scenario game (25bps).
But anyways enuff yapping onto the pics
The New Dangerous Power E1 (only upgrades the DP Clamping Feedneck)
Next up comparison with what i used to consider my TINY automag
And then a Collection Pic. I also have an A5 but my sister uses that more so i keep that in a different bag so she can just grab it when she play on her own. Besides to be honest as far as woods ball goes i prefer to shoot my Pro/Carbine or the Trracer.
