Seems like it'd be easier to ride if you took that thing off the front wheel.

Need to get a roof rack so I can throw my eastern up there and bring it to the college. Nothing special, just a 2010 Eastern Cobra with all the graphics taken off.

Drop the "iz" from Specialized and you get a pretty good description of what I think of people who ride bikes on anything but a designated bike path/trail.

Yeah that's the stand I use to hold mike bike prior to a ride.

Yeah it might be hard to understand but saddle technology has come a long way.  This saddle was more comfortable on day one than the saddle on my old bike that's been broken in for 25 years.  The anus relief channel rocks on the special ed.

Someone stole the seat and front wheel off of my bike. The seat, both wheels and chain was stolen off of my ol' lady's bike.

It pretty much represents my opinion of Gainesville properly.

I never leave this bike unattended in public.  Tomorrow I'm going to look at a 10 speed road bike with bmx bike handle bars for $60.  I might pop into a store or something for a minute with it.  Hopefully it will have a kick stand cuz I'd like to know what it's like to own a bike with one.

Even though I have kept the weight off since summer, I have been on the spin bike and now I am getting a serious workout plan to trim off some more fat and gain some muscle. Never liked working out my abs, but the machines at the gym makes it more fun.

I've been doing the HIIT running and love it. I havent lost any weight on the scales (ive actually gained about 10 pounds) but I've trimmed up substantially. Traditional cardio like running has always been tough for me, HIIT is like jogging for ADD people.

I have 3 relatively decent bikes, never use them. I used to love it when I lived in the country, but I live on a pretty busy highway and dont have time to get to trails on my schedule. I also have a stationary bike, but those things are just awful for me.

Stationary bikes are so boring.what is hitt running is it like that crazy game show where people get drilled by hydraulic arms and stuff when they run that obstacle course

HIIT stands for high intensity interval training. Fancy terminology for just jogging with a full sprint /run every two minutes. It's good for conditioning you when your legs weren't used to running, and you can adjust your pace as you get used to it.

It's good for me just because a straight jog gets boring fast, plus with HIIT I can adapt it to the treadmill when
I don't feel like outdoor running.

I've been using the incline option on the tread mill. It changes everything

I got sick around thanksgiving and couldnt eat/was never hungry. I ended up with small ulcers, acid reflex and erosion (Im only 20 years old, ha) and I ended up losing 25 lbs by New Years (I WAS about 180 lbs and im around 6'1'').

Im still not eating right, but now since I lost that much, my goal is to really trim up and get a regular workout going. I play basketball a few times a week and I started pushups/crunches. Not much, but once the weather picks up I can head to the parks with a bunch of trails for running/biking. Since its the winter, the rec center at my college has a lot of indoor track/wrestling/basketball/etc events and its just too busy in there sometimes.

Cycling blog installment 12-634.28

Between the skinny little tires and the new threadless stem riser this thing is starting to look like a circus clown bike.

Even if I do hit 65mph on this thing this summer I'm going to look silly doing it.

Yeah i looking forward to getting back to my regular training rides.  But after owning my road bike (Giant Seek One) for a few summers i think i going to sell it and stick to just the mountain bike (Giant Boulder SE).  The Seek has been a lot of fun, so much less rolling resistant and so much faster (have personally had it up to 55km/hr).  But at the end of the day i just like the ride and feel of my mountain bike more and tend to ride it the most.
