Hey guys,
I'm having a problem with my X7 Phenom. It has an air leak every time I pull the trigger. Same thing happens with the full auto. I'm curious if there is a quick fix or if I have to send it off to Tippmann. I made a video to help you guys visualize the problem a little better. Thanks guys Smile

I'd definately have a look at the trigger valve pin and seals. It's a bit tricky to get in there, but here's how to do it:

Screw on your tank, do NOT pull the trigger. Remove the tank, still not pulling the trigger.

Once that's done, carefully remove the grip push pins and pull the grip off, if you look up into the reciever the trigger valve pin should be protruding a bit from the bottom of the flex valve. Grab it carefully with some needle nose and pull it out. Be damn careful, the valve pin is very very thin and easy to break.

You can pull the flex valve out of the body at that point, an allen wrench will remove the brass plug where the valve pin came from and you can get at the o-rings in there. Look for dirt or crud or nicks on the o-rings. Roll the valve pin on something flat to make sure it's not bent or anything.

I'd guess that's where your leak is judging by the behavior.

It might be the firing pin or firing pins o-rings.  Call our service department at 800-533-4831, they will get you fixed up.

Sorry for the late reply, I checked what you asked me to and it started working again. Firing without any problems. Thanks a lot : ) I really appreciate it!
