It amazes me that I have one of the worlds largest and best know names in woodsball within an hours drive from me and no decent fields in the area.  C'mon Tippmann!

* I know this is falling on deaf ears and whatnot, but it does truly frustrate me that there isn't a better field in the area.

Wait you never been to the secret underground field/test lab under the factory? Oh wait I don't you know the password or have a super chromium barrel to get in.

It's true we don't have anything in the immediate area (Fort Wayne) but there are some nice fields in Indiana and the surrounding area. Just 30 min north of us is the Paintball Plex in Laotto. i know they are more geared for speedball but it is still a very nice facility. As for recball/woodsball fields there is apocalypse games in angola and sherwood forest in la porte. My personal favorite scenario field is Fort Knox in Winimac 1 1/2 hour drive west of Fort Wayne, multiple themed fields and great prices. also if you are up for the drive just 2-3 hours from the factory is CPX in Illinois and Hells Survivors in Michigan.

The closest thing Tippmann had to their own field was the Tippmann speedball field that they would set up around the area on special occasions, but that was sold few years back.

I am familiar with and or have been to all the fields you mention. I have heard the same about the Plex and Apocalypse in Angola is a sad excuse for a field IMO. The others are great fields, but most are 2.5-3+ hours away and just makes it tough for a day of play as I am an hours East of Ft. Wayne.

I am just venting a little, but I really would love to see some sort of large, well designed/funded  woodsball field in the Ft. Wayne area. It gets old having to look forward to 5-6 hours on the road for a day of paintball, especially when you are having to drive alone most times.

Not a big fan either. some buddies and I play some outlaw woodsball from time to time on private property. its nothing special, but as for woods its the only thing in Fort Wayne. I guess you could also call it a tippmann field, seeing as we all shoot tippmanns, for the most part, and the paint i buy is indirectly paid for by tippmann, my pay-check.lol
