Well now on top of my Flames of War minitures I am taking the lead here in the area promoting a new minitures game US ruleset due out in July. From Warlord Games a 28mm miniture Infantry based wargame. No more IgoUgo turns and initiative based move and fire concept. I purchased the German Infantry set and I am impressed. Figures can be put in various poses, carry various weapons, and the look is of a ragged infantryman, not pristine parade ground setups of uniform and equipment.

Going to be fun asembling and far easier on the eyes for painting than the 15mm FoW stuff. I see another $1000 or so before I stall out for awhile.

I just finished my 21st Panzer Division FoW forces for the Tank Aces and Normandy Campaign tourneys coming up. I built the 21st Panzer historically with PzKw IVH's as primary tanks, StuG III's, and the two Tigers (that never saw action destroyed during air attack before getting to battlefield), even the recon 'Puma' armored cars.
Then I built the upgraded 21st Panzer if all went as planned. PzKw V's (Panthers),Sp Arty, StuG IV's, Pumas a full Combat Company + Divisional attachments.

I find this minitures hobby relaxing as I spend hours assembling and painting and time flies by.
