Andy Griffith died today, Sheriff Andy from Mayberry was America's Sheriff in the heyday of family television. I still watch the reruns for a look back at more pleasent times.

My sister played a dead person on an episode of Matlock... Filmed in NC, six degrees and such...

We all will get a chance to meet our maker.

I would imagine most if not all people meet their makers imediately after birth.

Well, in all fairness, I didn't meet my maker until he was promoted to Mod on the forums....

INB4 inevitable religious argument.

On topic, I love the Andy Griffith show. Not only was it a part of my childhood, but my dad looked like him and was in law enforcement. I always equated the two in my head as a kid so maybe that's why I got so into the show.

Definitely an admirable character for his morals, both as a TV personality and in real life. A dying breed for sure. RIP.
