No worries, I'm the same way. I think impulse buying replaces alcohol and medication for me.

My addiction is buying cars though...gets pricey.

I chose my screen because I owned a impy. But kept it because, well, it describes me.

Anytime I choose to use materialistic things to make me feel better. I'm in trouble. It could be booze, buying stuff, food, relationships, anything.

Some things I have given up completely, because they absolutely make my life completely unmanageable. Such as mild altering substances. But the other things, can still cause a issue, if I try to run the show.

Hope this helps. Feel free to send a PM anytime.

I have a very serious phobia for spending money, so I often find cheap alcohol a solution to life's deeper cuts. Especially if those deeper cuts are having to spend a bunch of money.

I can't decide if I used to have terrible money management skills, or just too much access to parents' help. But for some reason this whole "watching your money" concept is a rather painful experience LOL

Goes up there with your first real breakup as the tougher of life's lessons.

Same- If my wife ever leaves me, I'm screwed. She's got sole control of the purse strings.

I'm ok with money... I know how to budget fairly well, but I like having nice things.  It's because of this that I now have a ton of monthly payments for the things I own.  Good thing is, I'm not paying interest on any of the store credit cards I have, and I'm very aware of when and how much each payment is.  Heck, one of the reasons I bought a mazda was because I could get a 0% loan on it.
