| Picked up and "old" model 98 and a custom 98. Both have the same problem: Shooting multiple balls per shot. I have disassembled and the ball latch is not missing and is in place. Any ideas? |

If the ball latch is worn it could still allow balls to get past even if it is in place. As this is an older marker I would start with a new ball latch.

does the gun fire one solid shot, and other balls come rolling out? i had this problem with my 98 and all it took was replacing the ball detent. get a universal parts kit for 10$ and give it a try. while you're at it, not a bad time to replace the o-rings and give her some oil and a cleanin! |
