Back out on the field playing again, not paintball, none in area, but airsoft. I have turned into the 'official' leader of all 'the new guys' against the resident expierinced crew who don't like playing against each other. Well it i/wass more 'fun' hammering new guys on thier no-win scenario mission...till now.
Saturday went out day2 playing with my new GBB M-4, loud and accurate as can be, and only with 4 40rd mags on me that hour and a half is not as fun as it used to be for the 'crew'.
Twice as the 'crew' sent a group of 3, all expierienced, all the way around to attack the defended flag, they came up in the usual way they did on the field, watching thier approach, let them go by me, I popped up, yelled out 'call it' a safety kill prevention on getting shot close range, and they began to turn, center mass x3 on each before they could react, that pop, pop, pop of that GBB. The look was priceless, what happened, all over thier faces. A little over 30min later guess what, same 3, doing the same thing, changed course a little to trace where I came from before, saw I was not there, banking I was no longer in that area, I was watching from a differant location. They relaxed a little continued thier move and again a resounding 'call it', they dropped thier shoulders and put the weapons up, and placed the red dead rag on thier heads and walked away.
Also when I stand up on the hilltop with my DMR M-14, intentionally profiling myself, the 'crew' tends to back up, and go around, go figure...interdiction at it's best.
I still got it.....no the 'herding cats' exercise with the new guys does get frustrating...but whats fun for some....
