Well since we're catching up lately in all sorts of other things, pictures, jobs, etc, why not a location thread? People have been moving all over for various reasons over the years. I didn't even know I was living in the same city as eMike and KingTiger until I was about to move away. Myself, I'm in the Yukon again right now, but at the end of October I will be moving to Seattle, WA for at least 6 months to work at frog. How about you? Where are you/ why? |

Google maps says that you are about halfway between my home and school, 19 minutes either way. I take 80 to 280 to get here. weird. Anyway, I'm currently living on campus in Newark, NJ. Scenic. Very scenic. -------------

Saint John, New Brunswick. Largest city in New Brunswick which isn't saying much, but enjoyable because I was able to acquire fibre optic internet. First incorporated city in Canada though, very historic and it isn't rare that we have up to 3 cruise ships at a time stop in our port. |

So true, especially the guys down there. I'm not positive I'll be IN Wilmington yet, but at least in the general area. I actually have a pretty good opportunity to apply to another, much larger state university here, but I just don't see it as the type of work that I want to do. We have one here going on right now that is the world's second largest beer festival. Last week, I went to the one here on Thursday, the one in Munich on Friday, and the one here again on Saturday. I love fest beer. -------------

I am in my apartment in central Tokyo. My apartment is on a high floor, and I have a good view of the Sumida River and the Tsukuda district. I am attempting to watch a Japanese television drama, which is absurdity on steroids. At least I can watch Pokemon when I'm not feeling masochistic. I spent last month in Nice. Living right in downtown SLC is really nice with the proximity of bars, stores, jobs, and public transport, but getting even just a little outside the city center gets better value. Plus, if you go somewhere like Cottonwood Heights, you can be even closer to the big mountains, if that's your thing. A little under two years until I'm back there for good.. |

Now that I'm back home... I'm in Milwaukee. Technically I live in a city called West Allis which is Just west of the Milwaukee city limits, but I don't always like to admit I live there. West Allis is Milwaukee's white trash neighborhood. It's cheap to rent here, close to where we work, and pretty safe though so it'll do for now. |

Yeah, we know how bad it gets from heading down to the wife's parents house on regular (non-holiday) weekends.
