Please explain a 'right' to work under a Union where you must pay a fee to work under that Union. Wouldn't a 'right' to work be a choice to work under the conditions you prefer voluntarily?

The Unions who are defacto fund raising organizations for the Democrat Party mainly are more into protecting thier source of income, more than workers 'rights'. And this Michigan fiasco is proof. You can under the Democrat Agenda have the 'right' to work, as long as you pay the fee we demand for that 'right' through our collection agency, the Unions.

Nebraska is a right to work state, and is doing quite well with near 4% unemploynment, above average income for the workers, and a growing jobs base, Michigan...well not so good.

I generally disagree with compulsory, or auto-in union membership.

What?

Larger unions are certainly guilty of protecting their own existence, but hey, that's just capitalism.

"[THING] is more interested in it's own income than anything else" is sort of the key element of capitalism.

Yes, let's totally compare a state with less than 2 million people, with an agricultural economy, to a state with 9.8 million people in an industrial-transitionary economy.

That's totally worthwhile.
