I like how they totally left out the fact that they had a background check.

It should be simple as walking into the store with money, and walking out.

And a license for the gun.

Yeah I see his point, but technically it's still easier to get a gun in some parts of the US. Especially a rifle.

Kind of brings up an interesting debate a friend of mine and I had-he told me he didn't think your 2nd amendment should be restricted because of a felony. Of course, I immediately (and vehemently) disagreed with him, but in retrospect I can see his point. I'm not necessarily going to agree with it, but I can see where the blanket felony = no guns can be a tad overreaching, especially if its not a violent felony.

I'm not impressed.  I can buy liquor at a gas station.  That seems more like something I shouldn't be able to buy at a gas station.  Also, I can walk into a store in Indiana with a driver's license and some cash, and walk out 15 minutes later, rifle, shotgun, or handgun in hand.  Suck it, Canada.

Shoot, in certain parts of WV and MD, you can buy guns, booze, bait, and gas all in the same store.

I was under the impression Canada had a five round limit on magazine capacity.

10 rounds for most pistols. 5 rounds is for most semi-auto centre fire rifles

The ominous music doesn't add any further bias at all.

*edit*

Also yeah, if you have a license and background check, why not be able to buy unrestricted firearms? I think the issue people will have/ may want to review is what classifies as unrestricted/ restricted.

When I lived in South Dakota in the late 1980's, the city I was in had a liquor store with a drive-through window.

^^^ That kind of "shocked" is my wife on a weekly basis. My favorite so far was when we were harvesting our asparagus and she was upset that she had to scrub it down to get the asparagus beetle eggs off the stems. Food grows out of doors woman! There are bugs out there, and they do it on your vegetable!

Drive through liquor stores have always seemed like a bad idea to me.
