None. In fact, with the way MD is going, I'm going to probably NFA trust these suckers so that they can be xfered to a safer state should they start confiscation. That way, as the kid gets older, the collector's stuff can be sold off if we aren't around, to pay for things like college and whatnot. ------------- <Removed overly wide sig. Tallen, what possible.. Err... Benefits are there from umbilical cord stem cells? I understand what they are and such, I've just never heard of anyone doing that. -------------

Pretty much this. Fetal stem cells are the best to use for organ regeneration/growth, but since people got all uppity with congress without understanding how they're actually cultured, the only way to get them is from the umbilical. The upshot is that you have a DNA match to your child's umbilical, so it benefits 3 of you. Father, mother, and child. So, in 40 year's time when I need a new liver or something, I'll have the stem cells at my disposal to do what I need to. Same goes for any issues the child may have. Heart defect? Grow a new one specifically for the child which won't be rejected because they're from it's own DNA. Downside is the cryostasis can be expensive. ------------- <Removed overly wide sig.
