Do the Cyclone feeders need any routine maintenance? Mine seems to be having a hard time keeping up with the R/T on my 98C. I took the bottom cover off to check the ratchet mechanism. I noticed the driver piston is bending. Is this normal, and are the upgrades necessary with the R/T?

Check out Rambino's post in http://www.tippmannsports.com/forum/wwf77a/forum_posts.asp?TID=62300&title=marker-trouble-read-maintenance-archive" rel="nofollow - this thread about cyclone issues. It's the second post down.

The R/T shouldn't do anything to mess with the cyclone as long as there is enough gas throughput to feed both systems. That said, earlier versions DID have issues which were solved by the Super R/T + QEV conversion which is pretty inexpensive. You can find instructions on that here: http://www.tippmannsports.com/forum/wwf77a/forum_posts.asp?TID=152632&title=super-r-t-qev-tutorial" rel="nofollow - link
