Hello folks, Old time member from 2002-2004-ish here (just missed old blue, hesitant to say my s/n as I never played well with others...), I'm trying to get in touch with an old friend of mine, -prodigy- Anyone keep in touch with him? Just wanted to say hey. Also, anyone heard from hwyhzrd, enos shenk, etc... Thanks.

I dont think anyone would give you a hard time if you revealled your old username. Only a few members are still around from that far back and over a decade is a long time to hold a grudge. I don't have a wayof contacting prodigy but I do recall the user. Good luck finding him. Welcome back -------------

Not for ages. It's basically the crew you see here plus some lurkers and the occasional newbie in the actual paintball sections. I pour my heart and soul into this forum, and this is the thanks I get. I swear. No respect. Also, paintball is weird these days. I bought an Empire Resurrection autococker, and I pretty much don't use anything else. Well, that is to say I still use PCF's old E-Tek when the need for a mouseclick trigger arises, but with all the speed caps and whatnot, the Ressy really is my go-to. Autocockers are coming back. Last time I played (about 2 years ago now, ugh! Don't have kids folks!) I brought out the Black Magic that I restored to bone stock and you'd have thought nobody had ever seen a back-block before. I think people were mesmerized. ------------- <Removed overly wide sig. Tsk, you know better.> |

I've shot enough autocockers for the "backblock mojo" to be firmly replaced by "I'm sick and tired of tucking in and smacking my lens with the cocking rod" mojo. I <3 half/mid blocks. I think if I ever play paintball again (doubtful at this point), I'd just get a pump. Don't know anyone who plays anymore. It was fun when you could get a bunch of guys together on someone's land, but that isn't in option with everyone moving/married/having kids. ------------- irc.esper.net #paintball |

I still have my ATCI TM-11A and Tippmann SL-68II. Would love to play with those again. Took me and 4 guys a month to go through a case of paint with pumps. Ah, the good old days... -------------

Honestly, I've always liked fields for play, especially the old-school ones that are still mainly woods/rec oriented. Pick-up games never held much appeal to me unless they were massive like the ones we used to put on with my store back in college. Neighbor's kid just got a Tippmann 98 for xmas. Pfft. I play all the time, played outlaw with some friends out in Indiana this past Saturday, had about 16 players! It was a blast. I play magfed, it is really fun, and FSR are the bomb. Seriously, watch this video at 6:55... That is what you can do with a FSR! They are insane. ------------- They tremble at my name...

I still lurk from time to time. i had way to many embarassing moments to walk away fully from this place. Especially from Dave and Enos. ... Still miss bravecoward and Hysteria anyways Got married, had kids, and then got divorced, got with another girl that actually lets me play paintball. I get to go a few times a month if I want to. Paintball will never die with me... -------------

I'm thinking the last time I played was about 3 years ago. Haven't looked at my gear in almost that long. I'm sure all the seals are gone, especially in the Automag. <sigh> Had some hopes for getting that thing, turning it into a ripper... Oh well... -------------

I haven't played in about six years I believe. Last holiday season I stumbled across my gear. It was a lot of memories. Fixed my cyclone. I probably have about a half dozen markers I never used. I seldom play airsoft. I'd love to rent one of the new Tippmanns. -------------

My last game was a long time ago- but it looks like I'll be getting back into it. I made a comment to one of our Lieutenants the other night about how I used to play, and he got all excited. Turns out the University Police used to take some of the residence hall staff out to a local field every now and then for a few years running, but one of the two officers who used to host it transferred out and they haven't done it in a year or two. I'm pretty sure I got volunteered to help pick it back up. ------------- ? |
