It's been a good run. Thousands of next generation would-be paintball snipers are going to be buying 21" barrels and ghillie suits without our advice. And the memories of the super chromium barrel will be just that. A memory. Buried forever on the hard-drive of a server hosting the 'ol out-dated wwf77a Tippmann forum. TechPB vs PBC, the dozens of iterations of IRC PBC, and paintapalooza. All but a memory, forever preserved in the archives of the Internet. Always kinda took it for granted that it was still there, even when I (and probably a majority) fell off for awhile. Always thought it was kinda funny trying to explain a SO awhile back why I was posting on a paintball forum when I didn't play paintball. So, thanks for that era of greatness, o fellow T/O forumers! Almost it feels like a past life or something. This place in some way shaped who I am. Maybe I'm remembering differently now, but I would credit this place as having probably the most civil and well-reasoned debates (and master debaters) I've yet seen on the internet. I'm actually sad now, having typed that. There's, like... a sappy country song lamenting the death of an internet forum in there somewhere. I'll see you guys on the FB then, I suppose. Thanks TF! I'll never again have this close of a personal relationship (I've met a few a y'all IRL) with another group of internet strangers ever again. Also, there are still a few of us over at #paintball. I feel the same. 12 years, all of highschool, six years of college, a driver's license, four cars, two homes, two states, a few SOs, probably 10 jobs. I took it for granted. I'll miss this place. -------------

Yeah, it's pretty crazy to think about... this place is definitely part of why I do what I do now, it was one of my first and largest online influences and experiences. I joined two years before YouTube existed, and many of you were here long before I ever was. Time has flown but there were some hilarious shenanigans on here along the way. Thank you Tallen for the heads up about them closing this place, I had to come back before it's gone. Thanks for all the fun everyone. VVV LOL |

Yeeaahhhh Semi C3 would be pretty cool but it would Need a breach cooler System. It got potenzial in combination with small liquid fuel tank and with O(xigen) filled 12g Cartrige and a fuel injection. We don´t have C3´s in Germany cause they work with hot gas so the law says it´s like an lethal weapon with hot gas (doesn´t matter if it´s a hugde pressure difference) so you Need license and bla bla to get a paintball marker like that !!! ------------- I like Tippmann !!! |

I remember when I came here for my first post. I was amazed at the responses I got in a very short period of time. I think I'll miss that the most. The community that was here to help with the most trivial paintball question. As my mediocre experience grew, I got to help here and there myself. I'll definitely miss this place. I'll miss the debates. I'll even miss the good and bad natured ribbing. I'll miss everyone that made this place what it was. -------------

I remember how busy this forum was around 2001-2002, at the end of Old Blue and the beginning of this forum. In T&O, posts with a timestamp of an hour ago were on Page 2. It was crazy. The random stuff that would get discussed. Was really amazing. |

Lasted like that for a long time here, too. My first couple years here, the first 2-3 pages were all active threads. Great times.
