is it possible to chop balls with a 98 custom with no e-bolt or r/t? the only thing i that may make my ROF faster is a pen spring, and x-chamber. and will putting a double trgger increase my chances of chopping balls? i plan on getting a revvy soon.

Yes you can. If you are shooting faster than gravity can feed the balls in.

i dont plan on getting a r/t or e-bolt since r/t's are usually illegal and e-bolts are too much.

ive played a kid with a r/t and i actually kept up pretty well...but he eventually got me

You will wan't the electro hopper trust me, and the 12v revvy is a good choice, if you want a really good deal go to http://www.paintballgear.com - www.paintballgear.com , they are selling them for $35 w/ a spair shell! (Sorry county, your still my favorite site but that is an undeniably good buy)

I used to outshoot my gravity feed hopper fanning the trigger all the time, so I bought a Halo TSA (If I had the choice to do over again I would of bought a 12v revvy or Egg), if you are really interested in walking your mech 98c I actually have a mod on mine right now and it is very much walkable, it a modification I have never seen anyone attempt or do before and when I get it all fine tuned I am going to make a thread with step by step instructions, PM me if you would like more details.

Could it possibly be the same spring mod that EVIL-98 does?( Don't want to name it, and make him lose business)

heh my 98c is a blender...once i get that thing going (shoot fast as i can, or slow as i can its odd) im lucky to hit a target 5 feet away with all the balls breaking....I have a crappy gravity hopper. A revvy or halo b should feed balls in fast enough so i dont chop right?

stay under 4bps until you get rvvy than go as fast as you want with no response or e-bolt...

walk the dog? its called walking cuz ur fingers are in a walk motion.... to do it on a mech you can drill and tap a small set screw through the left end of ur double trigger where that plastic sticks out a bit to secure the trigger spring and adjust how much u want to stick out over the top of the trigger, get an adjustable trigger stop, do a no-slop trigger mod, and replace the trigger spring with a light BIC spring or lighter if u can find one.  Mods can be found on www.model98.net

-------------
Setup:
Tippmann98c
Silver Vein powdercoat
Palmer's male stab
Ported elbow
Double trigger with stop
Lapco bigshot
Trigger slop mod

IT's just called walking. No Dog involved.

Get a good electro hopper like a revvy or an evo II and you will not chop.
