That is a JT slammer. I works with JT slam pods. Very nice for quick loading. I got it for 30 bucks brand new. And also it is not macroline. It is Megaline. It has a 2500 PSI rating.

Thats cool, i dont like everything i see either. Thanks for posting. The Guard and trigger are polished titanium alloy, and the thing on the hopper is a JT slammer. It does look <poopy>but works great. No more pooring balls into my hopper i just slam the pod in and im reloaded in about less than a second.

Basiclly the slammer fits my pods so i can slam my pod into the hopper without "pooring" them into the hopper. Takes about 1 second to unload the full pod. It looks weird but im use to it now. It doesnt bother me at all.

So whats the big deal about Compressed air? Like i say ive only been in this for about a year. The tanks are so friggin much money compared to Co2. Whats the main difference between the both? I know that the air is warm and better for your internals but i hear tippmanns handle Co2 extremly well. Also is the Compressed air quieter?

Hey, I got one question for you...I saw those grips, and they look pretty good.  I was kinda wondering on weither or not to get them.  I heard they were pretty difficult to get on the custom...Did you have any problems with them?

Anything at all about the grips is great.

BTW, Like the marker, of course the trigger and its guard are gonna be picked out, but I think that the marker itself with everything on it looks good....however....about those stickers....

pimp it. up. your right and i have to agree. the double is diffrant. stick w/ it. to answer your ques. co2 is affected by temp. and hpa is not. your going to get more consistant shots out of a hpa tank than you will a co2. i  have an a-5 and have a 88/3 tank and then use my 20 oz as back up or if i'm playing and not playing at a field. yes tippys can handle co2 fine but like i said if you want your gun to run tip top shape and get the most constistancy out of your gun go w/ the hpa.

Nothing is wrong with CO2, if your setup is built to handle it.

I could afford N2, but have decided to stick with CO2 because you can get more shots per fill with a CO2 cylinder than you could possibly get from any HPA tank, plus I don't play often enough to justify the cost of the tank or the hassle of having it hydrostatically tested every few years.

Either air source has its strengths and weaknesses.  It just depends on where your priorities lie.

There are things you can do to keep liquid CO2 out of your gun's valve, but none of this is really necessary because the Tippmann CVX valve suffers no ill effects from ingesting liquid.

As for your gun...

Don't care for the speed collar because it looks like poo, but I know people who swear by them.  If it works for you, then stick with it.

Nice choice on the Dye grips.

The trigger is almost a little too radical, but since nobody ever uses them it makes the setup so much more unique.

I like the blacked out letters on the side.  But why is it so reflective in the camera... did you use a magic marker or something?  Maybe get some flat model/craft paint and detail brush it on there to get better contrast.

My only real suggestion is this:  Take apart the flatline, and spraypaint the shroud (except for the handguard/foregrip) a matching metallic silver.

Posted By: slimjonesy
Date Posted: 03 May 2004 at 5:48am
Thanks, ill try the shroud today. I got some paint to match the gun. Also yes it is marker, its not working to good.lol I gotta get a paint marker. I wanted to make sure i liked it forst before i used paint. Thanks again!

i dont really like the trigger or the gaurd and i would take the JT stickers off the flatline and the hopper, and take the flame cover off the tank.  if you play woodsball (it looks like a woodsball gun) theyll give you away

i LOVE those grips, and the paintjob on the flatline, and the rear cocking bolt adds a nice touch to it.  my favorite thing about it is the grips tho!  im going to steal them from you! j/k seriously where did you get them? i must have them!

You completly pimped it out!  Now you need some bling bling, and a low rider to match your gun.  you better put some pics up when you get the front grip on.  I love how the trigger and trigger gaurd go with that grip.

I liked the silver version too, with the matching shroud...but this latest version is perfect.

You probably have the speed turned up too high on the r/t.  You probably know this but you can adjust the speed by turning that little screw where the air is going into the r/t on the right side of your gun.  If it is shooting too fast the hopper cant keep up and the bolt will chop the ball.
