I have a pro/am with a metal shroud, it makes it heavier, but it does feel a bit more solid. I envy your neato front site though(along with that case).
EDIT: Is there something lodged in your shroud?

i got it off of craigslist, you must be thinking of another gun. Why would you pay more for an unoriginal frame?

well what i want is a 68 carbine or pro/carbine because they have 45 degree frames. I have a little project in mind and i need a 45 degree frame to do it.

you could buy a hard case and put some foam cushioning into it and carve the form you want your marker to sit in and slap a tippmann sticker on it!
