Hey guys i have an x7 phenom with a remote line attachment. I also have 3000 psi air tank. Every time the arrow on the compressed air tank goes to 2 the gun doesn't let me shoot anymore. The ref at the paintball game said it was because my remote line was to long and by the time the air got to the gun it wouldn't be enough. Please help thanks alot!!!!!

Two things to check, some HPA tanks are low-pressure output. Meaning that they don't output the air at the full 800psi that Tippmanns and other high-pressure markers require to fire properly. Now, since your marker seems to fire until the tank gets below a certain pressure, I doubt that's the case, but it's always worth a look.
More likely, I think you have a bad gauge on your tank. Try bleeding it completely dry to see if the needle will go all the way down. One last thing to try is to connect your remote line to your bottle, twist the remote knob all the way "on". Then turn it back 1/8 to 1/4 turn. Some remotes will block the pin-valve if you crank them all the way open, hence the turn back of 1/8 to 1/4 to allow the air to flow better. Hope that helps! |

Also try the tank directly on the marker to see if it does the same thing.

Yep. FYI, I worked as a Tippmann, AGD, WGP, Kingman, WDP, and BE Certified Tech for 2 years when I was in college. There's not much in the way of troubleshooting that I haven't come across (of course, newer electros are easy to daignose. "What, it won't work? Go buy a new board.") |
