Prototype Flatline Shroud

you realize that putting foam on the inside of the shroud for a flatline would do nothing what-so-ever.  all the sound that comes out of it comes out of the tip, there are not holes/porting in the flatline so the only place the sound/air can ecape is out the tip, which is the reason it's so loud, if you wanted to really silence it you'd have to extend the shroud past the tip and put the foam there, and putting a silencer on a paintball gun, although illegal will never get you put in jail unless someone specificaly tells the police about it, police dont go around searching paintball guns to check if they have silencers on them

i realized that shorlty after posting. id planned on the foam to absorb the
"ping" noise from the aluminum shroud, but the use of PVC takes care of
that.

you guys have to stop putting in your 2 cents about him putting the foam in his barrel he heard you the first time you dont have to repeat yourselves over and over

pointless and a waste of time...hmmm...whats the point of making an
alternate shroud in the first place? isnt that a waste of time? what about
playing paintball? couldnt we all be doing something more constructive
and meaningful? i mean whats the point of it anyway? oh yea, to have fun!

and BUY every corprate manufactured product u can afford. maybe i
think that the "ping" noise is annoying while the general "boom" as u put
it is fine? this mod would be perfect for me, the one whos making it.

anyways, the final product should be complete by the end of this
weekend, ill post some pix, should be a lot of fun to make
